My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. We made the reservation online and he added that it was our anniversary. Multiple employees stopped to tell us happy anniversary which was very sweet. We LOVED this place! It was a one room dining room in an old home on Magazine street. All the food was excellent. We had the lump crab and daisy salad for apps, followed by the trout special and finished with a lemon tart. Well done!

Chef Anton, Diane, Daisy and staff gave my wife and I a memorable anniversary dinner! The appetizers of escargot, lump crab meat and entrees of drum and filet mignon and desserts of baked Alaska and homemade peppermint ice cream were to perfection!

Excellent restaurant. I had a shrimp dish with grits and it was delicious. My wife got a grilled speckled trout with lump crab meat. Both dishes were served with their own delicious sauces that made them something to return and have again. It's a bit on the pricier side, so we will only be back for special occasions, but we definitely will be back. All of the wait staff was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable.

Well, it’s about time I write a review for my favorite restaurant in the entire city…. From being made to feel like family to homey atmosphere to the melt in your mouth flavors, you need to look no further for the best meal and experience in New Orleans. The lamb shank is probably the best dish I’ve ever had in my life. My wife loves the puppy drum with crabmeat. Filet is phenomenal as well. We always get the crabmeat/beet appetizer and the warm spinach salad as well. Incredible. Also - the wine prices are unbeatable. This place holds an incredibly special place in my heart - I proposed after an incredible night at Bistro Daisy. It’s a part of my world and I relish the opportunity to eat there any time I can! Thank you Dianna (spelling?) for the hospitality as always!!!

***the best filet in town and it is not close. I rarely give 5 stars. This place far exceeded expectations- the ambiance is wonderful in a charming converted house which is intimate and warm. The service is incredibly prompt attentive without being over bearing but the food is what really stole the show. The oyster appetizer is a must try. We had white fish and the fillet, the fillet is as good as I've had.

Finally planned an evening to try this place, at the recommendation of many friends and neighbors. Ambiance is cozy and comfortable, and the food is phenomenal, as well as reasonably priced compared to similar local restaurants. The filet and duck are both phenomenal. Portion sizes are quite large, too. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back soon.

Amazing! Both food and drinks are off the charts!!! Atmosphere is elegant and cozy. I think there are less than 15 tables. So attention is very personalized! Absolutely a 5-star dining experience every time we have been there!

We had reservations for 7 people following a wedding ceremony, and I’m so glad it was here! The restaurant is small enough to feel intimate, but the tables are spaced well enough too still give the impression of privacy. Also, I’ve never been more impressed with service. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and everyone was very kind. Finally, the food was the best we had in New Orleans. The whole group was so impressed and happy with the food. Since I have no critiques, I’ll just share what we had: several of us got espresso throughout the meal, and for appetizers we ordered the smoked salmon mousse, lump crab, and escargot as appetizers. For entrées we had the filet of beef, the yellowfin tuna, and the black drum special. For dessert we had the creme brûlée, baked alaska, tangerine sorbet, and the berry cobbler. Then, the staff brought out a hazelnut ice cream with candles in it for the happy couple. Finally, as we were leaving they gave each of us some celebratory champagne.
